Program Description

The Master of Business Administration program aimed at professionals and executives who hold high-level managerial positions. Students gain the requisite skills to become innovative leaders in their fields and to deal with managerial and leadership challenges precipitated by the changing environment.

The MBA program is a collaborative learning experience that is geared toward providing high-level executives with a global outlook and an integrated functional knowledge in administration, finance, marketing, operations, information technology and human resources. Strategic leadership development components, such as business and data analytics, and technology, will build on students’ capacity to lead and supervise personnel, and excel in the management process. This program offers the option of one specialization from the following areas:

•Specialization in International Business

•Specialization in Human Resources Management

•Specialization in Marketing Management

Master of Business Administration – Specialization in International Business: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:  

• Explain the basic process of analysis of segments and segmentation, as well as market research for strategic decision-making in companies.

• Employ integral communication strategies to prepare creative proposals that respond to organizations’ needs.

• Use modern management theories for the design of strategies related to recruiting and selection, training plans and career paths, performance evaluation systems, change management, and indicator-based talent.

• Apply technological strategies to develop, launch, and position new products and services in the market.

• Identify leadership skills that align with the company's organizational culture to generate a specific strategic business model.

• Recognize ethical principles within marketing strategies, human resources, and international business.

• Develop a marketing and commercial plan applying a new business opportunity to a going concern, as required.

• Develop a strategic human resource plan for a going concern in line with international business trends.

Master of Business Administration – Specialization in Human Resources Management: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

• Explain the basic process of analysis of segments and segmentation, as well as market research for strategic decision-making in companies.

• Employ integral communication strategies to prepare creative proposals that respond to organizations’ needs.

• Use modern management theories for the design of strategies related to recruiting and selection, training plans and career paths, performance evaluation systems, change management, and indicator-based talent.

• Apply technological strategies to develop, launch, and position new products and services in the market.

• Identify leadership skills that align with the company's organizational culture to generate a specific strategic business model.

• Recognize ethical principles within marketing strategies, human resources, and international business.

• Describes the human resources management strategies that favor professional development in a company.

• Develop a strategic human resource plan for a going concern.

Master of Business Administration – Specialization in Marketing Management: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

• Explain the basic process of analysis of segments and segmentation, as well as market research for strategic decision-making in companies.

• Employ integral communication strategies to prepare creative proposals that respond to organizations’ needs.

• Use modern management theories for the design of strategies related to recruiting and selection, training plans and career paths, performance evaluation systems, change management, and indicator-based talent.

• Apply technological strategies to develop, launch, and position new products and services in the market.

• Identify leadership skills that align with the company's organizational culture to generate a specific strategic business model.

• Recognize ethical principles within marketing strategies, human resources, and international business.

• Evaluate human resource management strategies being implemented by the organizations to which they pertain.

• Design, analyze and evaluate marketing strategies.

• Apply modern marketing theories and techniques related to product design, price, distribution channels, and the level of service required.

Program Objectives

This program will develop students into ethical and innovative leaders in their fields, providing experience in meeting real-world challenges, finding solutions, and interacting effectively and efficiently in an increasingly changing business environment.

To complete the admissions process, the candidate must meet and submit the following requirements:

Domestic Student        

A completed signed and dated admission application.

Application fee $85.00 (*) made payable to San Ignacio University. (non-refundable)

Copy of bachelor/ master’s degree diploma or transcripts. For graduate transfer students, official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. All documents and educational credentials, if they are not in English, must be translated and evaluated by companies that are members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Copy of valid Government Issued Picture Identification (upon admissions)

International Student

Completed signed and dated international application form.

Application fee $85.00 (*) made payable to San Ignacio University (non-refundable)

Financial statement or certified bank letter in English demonstrating full tuition funds available, along with living expenses capability to cover a minimum of one year(12 months) of tuition and fees, books, supplies, living and any other necessary expenses during your studies.  (Amounts must be in or converted to USD currency). A minimum of $23,000 USD

Affidavit of support form if there is a sponsor and a copy of the sponsor’s ID.
